The Impact of Divinity House
Impact Made
Divinity House became a launching pad for transformation. The women who lived there stepped boldly into leadership, joining organizations that aligned with their own missions—whether working in recovery, advocating against domestic violence, or serving in housing leadership. Liz now manages in hospitality, Makea leads in recovery, Iney serves on the Community Housing Board, and Katrina is thriving as a full-time mother with a loving new family. Their journeys reflect the strength, tenacity, and vision that Divinity House helped nurture.

Lessons That Shaped Us
Lessons Learned
-
“When women move forward, they take courage with them.”
-
“Mothers need safe spaces for themselves and their children.”
-
“Community, not programs, creates lasting growth.”

What’s Next: Amandla Village
Amandla Village is the future of our housing vision—a safe, empowering community where women can heal, rebuild, and thrive. At its heart will be Divinity House 2.0, our dedicated intake home, welcoming women as they take their first courageous steps forward. Together, these spaces will provide stability, support, and a true beginning for women and their families ready to reclaim their place in society.
Amandla Village: stability, support, and a true beginning for women and their families.

These lessons shape the foundation of Amandla Village—where Divinity House 2.0 will serve as our new intake home. It will be a family-centered environment that honors women’s unique journeys, provides mothers with a safe space for their children, and empowers every resident to step forward with dignity, confidence, and hope. We’ve seen the impact. We know what works. Now, with your support, we can build a space that takes everything we’ve learned and scales it into something even greater. Join us in bringing Amandla Village to life—because when women are given the chance to move forward, entire communities move with them.
